Description
I originally signed up to stay for 2 weeks, but ended up staying for one month and I am so grateful all of La Luna welcomed me with such open arms and hearts. I want to start by saying thank you everyone. I love you guys❤️ My experience at La Luna was life changing. I have been reborn. I feel it within myself, my close friends and family see it, and strangers remark about my joy for life. Before coming to La Luna, I felt like I was just here on this planet. If I died tomorrow, it wouldn’t really bother me. I wasn’t actively trying to die, but I welcomed death without hesitation. Now, I’ve accepted death is apart of this beautiful life cycle, but I want to live. I want to experience everything that’s waiting for me around the corner, down the road, across the bridge; whatever transportation idiom you can think of, I want to do it. I was scared that this joy for life would leave me after leaving la luna, but it’s only strengthened as time goes on. The changes I felt and experienced during my time are here to stay with me and I will be forever grateful to Enrique, Guido, Leonardo, Jack, Walter, Carmen, and every beautiful soul that passed through during my stay. Thank you and salud maestro!!! The ceremonies are held with such care and honesty. Ayahuasca isn’t about tripping balls and seeing wild shit (it can happen and when it happens it’s super neat), but it’s about healing. And we heal by purging all the weight and negativity we carry within us. That is the focus here and everyone’s collective wisdom of ayahuasca, the surround plants, and the process made me feel constantly reassured that I am exactly where I am meant to be. Some days are harder than others, but each shaman has their own way of sharing their wisdom to make the experience as nurturing as possible. La Luna is an incredibly safe space to come break yourself down and then rebuild on a stronger, more stable foundation. If aya is calling you, please choose this center.
